The Menswear trend is definitely huge right now and I'm loving it! I don't think I would wear the full-on tux and bow-tie, but I would definitely mix up some menswear inspired pieces into an outfit (ex tuxedo jacket with skinny jeans or a skirt). The jumpsuits are also cute for a different twist on the look.

Bronze

Here are my fave affordable bronzers. I tend to prefer the types that aren't too orangey. Currently I'm using the Mark Bronzer in Pro-Bronze a lot on myself and for photo shoots. The colour is in between a bronzer and a contour powder, so it's easy to apply/blend and can give some dimension to your face. Plus, it's only around $10.00!

Thanks to Sara for requesting I do a post on Men's fashion. This can be a tricky one, since my hubby seems to rebel against what I try to get him to wear a lot of the time. He says I want him to dress too "metro-sexual". I think that I just want him to dress a bit more fashionable than his regular old T-shirts and jeans.

Quick Holiday Look

Here's a super-quick and simple idea for a Holiday look:
1. apply a dewy foundation such as Maybelline Fit, use concealer where needed.
2. sweep a golden eyeshadow all over eyes, from lids to brow bone.
3. add black eyeliner and smudge slightly
4. apply red lipstick and blot off any excess
5. rub your finger on the red lipstick, wipe off excess and apply to the apples of your cheeks
6. finish off with a good coat or two of mascara
Voila! Party-ready in 10 minutes or less.

I'm currently a little obsessed with leather pants. I recently went for the pair from Forever 21 (below) to at least get the look. I like that they are mixed with a cotton legging so that they still breathe!

The trend seemed to come back with Balmain's skinny leather pants and more recently, Isabel Marant's cropped version. I like that you can keep the look hard/rock'n roll or soft/casual (with something like a cozy sweater and flats).

I'm loving the red option... a lot.

Cleanse

Here are some of my fave ways to wash my face. They are all excellent at removing makeup and not stripping my skin or leaving my face tight and dry. None of them cost a fortune either.

The Dove bar was actually recommended to me by a Dermatologist. I picked up a 4-pack of them recently for just $3.50.

Great price and works well,
leaves my skin quite soft. I
make sure to use unscented and
sometimes use the Baby bars.

MAC Cleanse Off Oil
Costs much less than the
Shu Uemura cleansing oil,
but just as effective.

Oatmeal formula cleans oily to
dry skin without stripping it.

If you prefer all-natural
